After the opulent lunch at the Eiswoog there was a small bite in the evening at the restaurant of the Hotel Fronmühle in Bad Dürkheim. Hotel Krauß is located on the outskirts of the Kurpark, right next to the Saline. The welcome was friendly and we found a place in the cozy restaurant. In addition to international cuisine, the menu also offers seasonal and regional dishes. As Amuse Gueule there were white bread slices with herbal cucumber. My partner chose the basil soup with tomato mozzarella spike (5.50 euros). A wonderful aroma of basil, excellent in consistency and taste and beautifully decorated with a fresh basil. For me it should be a peat plate (14.50 euros) consisting of a bratwurst...
Two couples (and a toddler) enjoyed a fantastic lunch with great service at the Hotel Restaurant Fronmühle. The lamb was absolutely amazing!! Honestly the best I've ever had. The filet was cooked perfectly. The tuna steak was delicious. And the wurst was tasty and perfectly done.We enjoyed a bottle of dry Riesling wine which is a local favorite.Our server was very friendly, accommodating, and had great suggestions for menu items.Because we were dining with a small child we asked for a table away from other diners, and the restaurant happily accommodated our request.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling in the Bad Durkheimer area.
Food was fine (not too special, but decent). We had a birthday party with 15 people. The food arrived more or less at the same time and the entire waiting period was fine. But what it was really ruined for us was the service. The lady clearly didn't...fancy worked on a Sunday, held us ignored, not asking if someone wanted more drinks or dessert etc. definitely lost to some extra sales as we all skipped without dessert and most of us skipped coffee (as at the time we were so fed with the service that we decided to brew our own coffee at home instead). Definitely nobody will recommend
The hotel is located directly on the park and is very good as a starting point for excursions in the area. It has 7 rooms on 3 floors and is in very good condition. The rooms are small, but beautiful and modern furnishings, the bathrooms... are new. The hotel has an excellent restaurant, a new bar (Kbar) and a beer garden located in the spa park and only in summer. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a very good time there.

Went with my best friend to have dinner on a Sunday evening. We had a couple of tapa style appetizers which were not good. Gambas al ajillo were too small and to little. Just bought shrimps same size and more quantity at Edeka for E 2,50... The main courses arrived at the sauces came out of a powder pack... Not at all memorable.Service nice and friendly but food was not good so no reason to return.
there has been more often, always with reservation. eating is good citizen, good price / performance. Unfortunately, the servies need to be devalued, not because it is not also in order, but because we wanted to eat there spontaneously at 8:30 o'clock and be discarded for too many guests, although this was locally empty. Too bad. ikea wand.

Be careful where you sit, there are different menu's and prices! Decide what suits your wallet and you'll get great food served quickly enough. Prices are perhaps a little high but nowhere in town is cheap!
Beautiful atmosphere and amazing food. Come on. Everything is freshly prepared so you can easily wait for your food 40 to 60 minutes, but the food is worth it.
