I made a order on the phone, they said come in minutes and it will be ready. Phoned again to make sure they had the order right, they said yes and they were rude because I rang again. We went to pick it up...and they said they didn’t get the order. I made them aware I rang twice and I waited half an hour. He apologised and blamed his staff member. I walked out disgusted how can you run a business like this? Totally unprofessional, shambolic, unreliable, pathetic service, I don’t usually go here because the chips are disgusting but I was in the area and it was convenient. We waited for a order they never had no intention of delivering on, your never going to be successful with this lame attit...
Wednesday arived at the shop . people inside other out , so there are only people in front of me . In minutes only person in the shop had been served and delivery person . Que getting longer...outside . There were people working but nothing seems to be getting done. It looked like the new owner turned up and took off his coat and pitched in and then things started to move at last after half an hour waiting I'm finally managed to get my chips on leaving the shop it looks like some of the people in the back of the queue at left and giving up. This shop needs to get a manager who knows what he is doing regarding customer service , speed and efficiency of staff and react to the situation .
I love fish n chips so my review is restricted to experience of this one single menu choice. The business has recently changed hands. The new manager takes pride in cooking his fish to order. I like my batter fine and crispy (and NOT thick...and stodgy or soft I challenge you to find a better cooked piece of fish anywhere in Coventry. Seriously. The chips are great as well and servings are generous. Like everywhere, at busy times they are busy and with only allowed in shop (due to Covid) you might have to queue outside for bit. But the wait is worth it.
Paid good Money for awful food. Feel ripped off. Used to go here all often and travelled a couple of miles for the privilege however stopped going during COVID as wait was too long. Just visited chicken kebab and chips and was bitterly disappointed. Young...girl serving was not friendly and tried to serve someone behind me before me. Portions were tiny. Chicken is stale and been obvisouly sat in container a while and tastes to spices like it’s cheap meat. Chips are hit and miss some ok some like chewing wood. Never again.

I have placed multiple orders with this restaurant, but unfortunately, this will be my last. Despite my efforts, my orders have consistently been incorrect with missing items. For example, I received a cheeseburger without any cheese, a kebab without salad or sauce, and the chicken and donner meat were dry. I am disappointed with the service and quality of the food, so I will not be ordering from here again.
The chips were cold and the batter was sloppy and uncooked. The fish was dried out and disgusting. When I called to complain, the manager said it was how their customers preferred their fish cooked. I told him he was just trying to justify their poor quality. He then told me he didn't have time for my complaints.
Didn't have a good impression firstly because only one person infront of me and yet still took ages for me to get my one portion of chips need better service! Secondly, the chips were completely inedible, uncooked and hard absolutely awful and threw them...all in the bin! would never try here again
Excellent fish and chips, friendly staff and good quality food. We phoned in advance and the food was ready as soon as we arrived to collect it. The portion sizes were really good not too much so you feel overwhelmed! Will definitely be back!

I ordered a chicken and mushroom pie with chips earlier this evening. The pie was completely cold and the chips were lukewarm. The food was terrible.
