Gary 's Restaurant is your mediocre breakfast spot as it is all just your basic breakfast items. There is nothing that really wows you. I would like to compliment the biscuits and gravy. That is my favorite item on the menu. Their waffles are also very tasty. One thing I wish Gary 's would add and/or change would be to add shredded hash browns to the menu. The only potato option for breakfast is like these lumps of mushy potatoes. It 's a huge bummer and a big reason why I don 't go there often! The service is always good for the most part. The restaurant is always clean and offers a nice atmosphere.
This ranks among the worst breakfasts I've ever had. The waitress was inattentive, and it took 20 minutes for our meal to arrive after we placed our order. The gravy was lukewarm and tasted like it came from a can. My omelet contained chopped lunchmeat ham and had several pieces of half-cooked onion. The American fries, which I ordered with onions, were also undercooked and served in excessive amounts! The only highlight was the toast. My wife had the skillet dish, which she said was decent, but it was overwhelmed by half a cup of green peppers, even drowning out the salsa she ordered on the side!
Unfortunately, the chaos didn’t stop there. I finally asked if they had the spicy cheese balls, which she confirmed were available. Next, I tried to order the stacked turkey sandwich, and she asked if I meant the turkey and Swiss. I insisted on the stacked turkey sandwich that’s on their menu, but she kept suggesting the turkey club instead. I could even hear her in the background checking with someone about the availability of these items throughout our conversation. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my order and call a different restaurant instead.
This is right up there with the worst breakfast I've had. Waitress was inattentive, meal took 20 min to even get to the table from time ordered, Luke warm canned tasting gravy, chopped lunch meat ham in an omelet that was also full of half raw chunks of onion, the American fries ordered with Onions that were also undercooked and way to plentiful! Toast was a win that's about all. Wife had the skillet which she said was good except for the 1/2 cup of green peppers over powering even the salsa she ordered on the side!!!

"The food is excellent, and the service is friendly. The customers are welcoming as well. I enjoyed the stuffed hash browns and burgers, and the pancakes are a hit with the kids. There's plenty of parking, and it's easy to get to. I haven't had a bad experience here. It's a great place to meet new people, and there’s a regular morning crowd that shares interesting stories and gossip. If there's ever an issue, the staff is quick to resolve it. This is our favorite spot when family visits. I give it 5 stars!"
Little breakfast place in Whitehall on the main street that goes thru town. They have indoor and outdoor seating. It's pretty great. I guess you'd call it diner food. The servers are very efficient and kind. The pancakes are wonderful. They cook an English Muffin better than I've ever tasted ... the perfect amount of crispness and crevices full of butter. In the outdoor seating area there are beautiful flowers everywhere. I'm a fan!
I had a wonderful breakfast experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was pleasant. The fresh fried potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the scrambled eggs were well-prepared, although the portion was a bit small. The bacon was excellent—crispy, flat, and full of flavor! The raisin toast was also enjoyable. Overall, I really enjoyed my meal!
I've only visited this restaurant once, and when I was leaving, I accidentally walked into the window at full speed, mistaking it for the door. Perhaps the door could be designed to stand out more from the window. On a positive note, the food was delicious!

The menu is unreadable online, which makes ordering difficult. Even with my glasses on, the text is still too small and blurry. I would suggest using larger fonts and a typed format instead of a photo of a fuzzy menu.
