Main attraction is the view, if you can get a table along the beach side, you have a lovely view of the ocean. Otherwise you 're just on a patio, and the back area overlooks the public swimming pool. My husband and I both had the fried calamari appetizer, and burgers, which were absolutely delicious, the burgers were so incredibly juicy! Our one friend got the salmon and said it was a bit mushy . Our other friend has a gluten allergy and there wasn 't much on the menu she could have. The waitress said they were out of the salad she could eat, and they were unable to confirm the ingredients of the other dishes, so she ended up having a different very plain salad. The reason I go to this restaurant is because it is at Jones Beach and has a terrific view of the ocean. The food is generally good except for cheesecake. This was similar to the Jello Cheesecake mix I had as a child. Not even close to being cheesecake. The hostess and servers are friendly, but the service is not great. They do not have enough staff and there are long waits for requests and a lot of rushing around. A little overpriced for the quality of the food. But I will be back just for the incredible view and ocean air blowing on me.
Appetizers were delicious but my main of chicken breast over potatoes was not particularly tasty and was immediately cold since we were eating outside in the wind. Dessert was great though. Service was rather slow and inattentive. Would try again when indoor service returns
It was nice but not enough food for the price you pay however drinks were good . Ambience was romantic however we were getting attached by numerous food flies . It was annoying , when they find a way to control that I think it will be a lot better .

The view, venue, and people at this restaurant were all fantastic. However, we were disappointed that the food was served cold. I would recommend covering the dishes to keep them warm as they are brought to the table.
We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant! The meal was delicious, including the dinner, drinks, and dessert. Our waiter, Cody, provided excellent service and made our experience even better.
