I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. They call it Nepalese, but it's just a fancy name for Indian food that I love. There are many excellent Indian restaurants here, but this is not one of them. Firstly, there were no other customers when we got there. Two parties came in after us and we dealt with them before we did. We have expressly told the waitress everything mild. When we ordered a birayani she forgot to tell us until we complained that it is always spicy. We started with an inedible lentil soup. It was cold and salty. I discovered this restaurant while searching for a place to eat in Pleasanton. The food at this charming Nepali/Indian restaurant was fantastic. We had someone in our group who was knowledgeable about Indian cuisine and they were able to select high-quality dishes. The waitress also assisted us with the Nepali meal. Everything about this quaint Pleasanton restaurant will make us return again and again. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Also, the prices are very reasonable - our bill for four people was only $65.
Really cute place, only about 7 months old, it's food from Nepal. The staff are very nice and will help you choose the food if you don't know all of the menus. Good portions at a fair price for really unique food (and really good food!)
The vegetable momo was outstanding. The garlic nan was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately they ran out of lamb, but my date chose goat curry and really enjoyed it. The service was very good. I'm looking forward to my next meal there.

The menu offers both Indian and Nepalese food. We only tried the Nepalese cuisine and enjoyed the unique flavors on our sample plate. I will definitely come again.
