Called in for dinner after being in liverpool, want to come to the George as it was closer to home.we ordered steak and a sausage and mash,I did have a little problem with my steak not being cooked enough. But Emma was brilliant, sorted it out and gave me a complimentary of glass of wine.We then got speaking to Ryan what a lovely pleasant young man ,also very helpful. We like to support our local eatery as much as we can.
Visited today for a bite to eat. Amiee on bar was so polite and helpful and Ryan who brought our food was so lovely and friendly, lovely staff are hard to find, a credit to their job. Food was presented well, temperature of food was perfect and was really tasty. We'll done to the kitchen team. Value was excellent too. Keep doing what you are doing this place is great. This place is very Good value for money
Today, my friend and I had a wonderful steak lunch at the restaurant. Luke was quick to take our order, and Ryan attended to us with a friendly smile. Emma prepared a delicious rump steak just the way we liked it. We will definitely be returning soon to try other menu items.
Called in for a quick bite to eat and ended up staying and joining in with the bingo(on Thursdays) didn’t win but good fun, we were well looked after by Robbie, Reece and Callum, food was good, and served quickly and table cleared. Also drinks were reasonably priced. Book a table now
Sunday lunch with friends. Came over to visit the iron men and booked in here for Sunday lunch. 9.99 for Sunday lunch can't go far wrong. Food all fine. No real wait for food. Would come again if in the area.
Robbie was fantastic, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was average, but it's a great spot to relax and chat with friends while enjoying a drink.
