We had a delightful prix fixe meal that was very flavorful, but the dish didn't quite match the description as it was missing the artichokes and pimentos in the pasta. Since it was Thanksgiving, I understood that it was a busy time, and they may have run out of those ingredients. However, it would have been nice if someone had checked on us to refill our water or offer more wine or soda—though I didn't opt for more, the Pinot Grigio was surprisingly good. I love this diner! I know it was above the road before and it replaced pops diner and it was a top 5 favorite diner in nyc for me. I always come to breakfast or lunch and dinner. can never go wrong, get her breakfast and her burgers are so damn good. my friend had got a penne a la wodka with grilled chicken and she liked it! I just forgot to make a picture of it because I was so hungry and excited for my burger lol. First time here for breakfast and highly recommend it!!! Spacious dining rooms, for a Restaurant in this area, big plates of food and fresh, coffee refills for same price, easy parking in their parking lot( very difficult to find parking around so their parking lot is an advantage), friendly waitress!!! Breakfast was delicious! It was very busy, which is a great! But do be prepared to wait a bit for a table, and be realistic about your expectations from the server. They do a wonderful job, and it's hard to do a wonderful job for 10+ tables at a time! Absolutely loved the silver dollar pancakes... you get a mountain of them!
Spacious dining rooms with decor a step above mist diners. Went for an early dinner. Service was prompt and accurate. Large portions. Food was good, not great. No complaints. And they have a decent sized parking lot, a rarity in Queens,
Service was a bit slow. Food was ok. Smaller portions, higher prices... not sure if I would return anytime soon.
