The restaurant offered two vegan options: an ice cream and a sorbet. The chocolate ice cream was quite enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, it seemed that they only had sorbet available, with no vegan ice cream in sight. On my last visit, they also had vegan chocolate and candies, but unfortunately, those were not available this time. It’s such a pity. Updated from my previous review on October 15, 2022.
Had two vegan options one icecream and one sorbet. Chocolate icecream was lovely and staff were very friendly. Sadly seems to have gone down hill from my previous visit only had one sorbet and no vegan icecream they also had vegan chocolate and sweets last time I visited but nothing now. Such a shame. We tried Nardini's for vegan ice cream when visiting Largs but were disappointed they only had sorbet as the vegan options. So we decided to try Geraldo's. They only had vegan chocolate ice cream but the sprinkles were vegan too and it was yum. Just across road from where you get on/off the ferry to Millport.
There are a lot of places offering ice cream on a sunny beach day in Largs, but Geraldo's was the only one we found which labels vegan flavours. Plus, they have vegan wafer cones. Brilliant chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone with chopped nuts and a wafer. The member of staff was lovely and accomodating and double checked that everything was safe for vegans. Nicest vegan ice cream I've ever had. Also really reasonably priced for ice creams
I had the vegan ice cream coconut and chocolate. Was very creamy, tasty and delicious. Very good. Staffs was very friendly, happy and polite. Also the cone was vegan too. Updated from previous review on 2019-05-11
While the big ice cream places in Largs only had sorbet for vegans, Geraldo's had a vegan chocolate plus raspberry sorbet in pride of place. Staff knew exactly which cones were vegan too.

Amazing to have the option of vegan ice cream in a cone in somewhere small like Largs. We were so excited we had it in the rain! Only chocolate was available when we went.
