I had a quick casual dinner at Ginga on my way to the airport. I started with some gyoza. I was assured by the staff they were prawn which was reassuring as I don't eat pork. They were the oiliest gyoza I've ever had - not the best. I moved on the sushi. I found it hard to identify what was going around on the train especially for the sushi covered in mayonnaise. The sushi I had was cooked tuna and avocado. It was average overall and the tuna tasted very sweet. I had ordered a main meal - a large sized salmon belly with avocado and ponzu sauce. It took longer than expected to arrive considering there weren't many people there but when it arrived it looked and tasted exquisite. The salmon was...

We need to talk Ginga. It's not your fault I keep going to the movies hungry & with scant little time to eat, making you a convenient quick fix. That's 100% on me. But you need to hold up your end of the bargain. Where's the variety / quantity / quality? There was beef in a sushi roll tonight that was seriously chewy, and by 'chewy' I mean 'inedible'. There was no cheery greeting or in fact any greeting at all. The staff barely tolerated us. Clearly you have a captive market of unit dwellers, cruise ship tourists & movie mugs like me, but there's no need for complacency. I also like my money and it frankly costs too much for this suboptimal experience. $4.80 for a tiny serve of sogg...
service is good, not the freshest sushi. I just feel it wasn't normal. the tuna sushi is in the round a paste that it did not like at all. the curry was okay, but the garnels were afraid they would reject. they seem to be big garnels for a long time, but they are actually only very small garnels joined together and I think they were frozen. they also get the vibe of the place is quite unclean (as the stainless steel was never wiped off). not the best will not return. Food was cold and extremely over priced. I have tasted a lot of sushi and this ginga restaraunt is below average. Sushi train at clayfield sets a good standard of what sushi should be. Ginga is lacking service, taste as well as authenticity.
Boo! Awful rubbery sushi. Meagre servings of bad sushi. Staff were nice enough though. Avoid at all costs. I have to put 140 characters for this review. But I reall could have said it in 4. Boo!
Really nice food! Good service! Quick and easy always has food on the train so you're not waiting around for them to make it... but they do make it fresh if you ask them to! I would go here again
the food and service was terrible, there was nothing in the train, although the restaurant was full and when the food arrived, it was amazing! this place must close the ash! Book a table now
This is one of our regular lunch-time spots for both weekdays (when I'm in the area) and weekends. I do love a sushi train with buttons to alert staff when

"The food was tasty. But everyone at our table immediately felt very ill. Almost instantly. The salmon was also a little to raw. The meat was quite a fatty cut"
