In my quest to find the best pizza on Long Island, I returned to my hometown of East Islip, where I’ve often found pizzerias lacking in effort. Thankfully, I discovered Gio's Pizza. I ordered a well-done slice for myself and a heated slice for my grandson, and both were nearly perfect. On my personal scale, I'd rate it an 8.9, while my grandson—who can be quite picky—gave it an impressive 9.3 (though it might help that his name is Gio as well). The staff was incredibly friendly, and the baseball-themed atmosphere was fantastic. They also have a pretty cool logo! Now that I've found this gem, I’m excited to come back home.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The pizza was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly. For those looking for vegetarian options, they offer cheese pizza and veggie pinwheels. Parking can be a bit tricky since the lot is located on a major highway, but it's manageable. It's also a kid-friendly environment with plenty of space to dine comfortably with children. Overall, I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here!
I dine here frequently and always enjoy it. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. They offer great daily specials, such as two pizzas for $26.99 on Tuesdays. You can choose to take out or have your meal delivered. There’s parking available in both the front and back. I usually go for dinner, and the cost per person is around $10–20.
Great service and great food. I'll drive the extra few miles to get what I want and a Friendly staff. Not supposed to drive that far but I take my time to get there.
