Oo La La ! Such a hidden gem of a place in Nice. Rue Barbaris is around 10 mins walks from the old town but worth the visit to try this fresh and tasty pizza. A great host and a very good chef who knows how to make pizza ! We tried two different pizzas and both were made without any fuss. The desserts were handpicked each week which made a great end to the visit. It is a small place so you will miss out if you go too late in the evening.
This pizzeria provided me with the best pizza I have had in a very long time. I asked for the Napoli pizza (olives, capers, tomatoes, anchovies, basil), and it was absolutely delicious: made from scratch with delicious sourdough bread. The service was super-friendly, and the whole lunch experience for a solo visitor was very welcoming. But I return to that pizza: it was superb.
One of the best pizza spots in Nice. We had the most delicious food and the owner Antonio and his staff give the best service, they were so lovely to me and my family for my daughters birthday, made it very special for us and we really enjoyed our evening. Thank you Antonio and everyone at Giovanni's we can't wait to come back.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten and I eat a LOT of pizza, cook really knows what’s up. Also the guy who takes your order is hotter than the great heat wave of 2022
