Glenfinnan Station Museum Dining Car

This is a great place to visit for breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon tea or early dinner! The food is delicious and of a really high quality. Between the 4 of us, wehad open sandwiches and salads with steak, chicken and salmon. We went back the next day for cake (we were too full the day before! The staff are so personable and happy to chat where time permits! When we went for lunch, we got lucky and managed to get a table. When we went back for cake, they were so full we had to get take-away! V popular. Book wherever possible. Lovely features in-keeping with the time and period of the train carriage! Loved it!

I have been a regular at this restaurant for a long time and have always loved it. Unfortunately, they recently made some changes by removing seating and altering the menu, which I believe has taken away some of its charm. I preferred the previous soup and sandwich deal that they no longer offer. Additionally, the coffee was cold and when I complained, I was told it was as hot as it was going to get. I am disappointed with these changes and will not be returning.

We made a reservation and we were glad we did because the nice weather had attracted a lot of people! We tried the soup of the day and some special fries. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We even purchased a bottle of their own Glenfinnan Gin. It was a fantastic experience!

We visit this Dining Car after visiting Glenfinnan Viaduct. Great place to visit for lunch, the decoration and the atmosphere is unique, we had ordered soups and sandwiches that were perfect. You can combine dining Car with Station Museum

A step back in time to indulge a superb breakfast inside an original railway dining carriage. Great service and coffee.
