Holy sweet mother of god....im from ontario, canada and i came down with a truck to make a delivery across the road from this place. When i got here, Diamond K (the place i was delivering to) was closed for the night, so id have to wait and deliver in the morning....boy am i ever glad i had to wait!! ...i would have never got the chance to check this place out if i had made my delivery. This place is AMAZINGGGG!!! The best food i have ever eaten in all my life....HANDS DOWN. After i was done and stuffed to the limit, i asked to shake the chefs hand (to see who cooked my TO DIE FOR steak) and i thought Gordon Ramsey was gunna step out of the kitchen....it seriously wouldnt have even shocked m...
For the first time to visit the surprising diner. It looks like it's built on the original diner and still a lot of the retro look. There are many seats, even outdoors. The waitress was really friendly and very courteous to my 4 yr Olds whims.. the food was definitely traditional diner food and it was good! I ordered the hot turkey plate, but it wasn't as hot as I expected. Apart from that, everything else was great!
Usually I get the hot roast beef dinner that is so good, but today I have the fish and chips that they were really good too! We often take away and our food is always well packed to wear and the staff is always very friendly! Today for breakfast and as usual it was great!
Well we had breakfast at the Glider Dinner today, Wynter was our waitress and she was just wonderful. The food was great as always and more than we could eat. I got to say this is the best place you could ever go to eat and the price is right. Rocky

Great staff ! I had the veggie wrap..Cooked on the grill, no oil ! Cooked perfectly, beautiful veggies, asparagus, zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, onion, mushrooms! To die for. Many choices, so if you are a vegetarian, vegan, you can eat here too!
A true staple of Scranton diners, the Glider Diner holds a special place in my heart since my father took me here as a little boy.
I love it there I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap mom and Aunt ordered a roast beef sandwich everything was great not over priced
It's nice when your forced to get what you DON'T want to order All we wanted was a plain hamburger each.
