We’re new to the area and ordered some food. We got prawn toast, crispy chilli squid, pork dumplings, crab and sweetcorn soup and quarter duck. Sadly the duck was only decent thing. The little crispy squid on top of all the veg wasn’t crispy and the squid was chewy, the prawn toast was literally just fried toast with sesame seeds. I tore it apart as I couldn’t taste any prawns and there wasn’t any. The soup was flavourless as was the pork dumplings the only thing we ate was the duck. The rest of the £22.30 order went in the bin. Sadly that will be the last order I get from here.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The service was absolutely disgusting - my order was incorrect and I was asked to pay more for the missing items, even though I had already paid. The manager was very rude in addressing the issue and clearly needs customer service training. In addition, the quality of the food was very poor. I have been a customer at this restaurant for years, but after this experience, I won't be returning.
Food from this place is disgusting. The chow mein was literally dry and overcooked (no onions or beansprouts either, just noodles). The egg fried rice ... The egg tasted gone off. The curry, clumpy and gooey. The chilli chips though were really nice. I will never go back, because it's just not good food.

Rubbish we tried to order a take out by phone BUT my card is linked to a Norfolk address and as I wanted to treat a friend who I was visiting in Tilbury they refused to accept it. My card has and continures to be excepted worldwide. So angry and embarrised just be aware.
Gave it a try, ending up being a stupid mistake I had emperors fried rice that ended up giving me food posing. I have been stuck at home being sick and laying by the toilet I recommend you don't eat here. Really disappointed
After trying most Chinese in the area we have found this one to be good value for money. They are very helpful and the food is very tasty. The potion sizes are very fair and as I say for the area the price is very fair.
This restaurant, located close to our daughters, serves delicious and well-cooked food. They accept payment by card for phone orders, and offer both delivery and takeaway options.

best chinese in thurrock in my opinion only thing is the prawn toast could be less oily : other than that, the food is wonderful great portions for the price too!!
