It should be a no star but that doesn't exist. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. A supermarket's own chicken soup is more spicy than the szechuan chicken. It was bland, tasteless and watery. The egg fried rice was just rice with a clumpy egg on the top of the rice when you opened the lid off the plastic container. The prawn crackers were not the freshest, and tasted as if a day old. All in all, a total waste of time and money. Avoid this place if you want anything that resembles an authentic Chinese dish. Two of us went here for dinner and I ordered sizzling chicken with onions. This is probably the worst Chinese food I have had in my living memory. The chicken had the consistency of watery flaked fish and disintegrated when prodded or put in my mouth. Absolutely revolting. The restaurant insisted this was a special kind of chicken called water chicken, which is only available in certain special restaurants in Cheltenham! The sauce is really also tasted old, and slightly burnt. Dreadful, virtually inedible i returned it. The staff were polite and offered me something else, but I have to confess I had lost my appetite by then.
What a disappointment. How on earth can you charge people for frozen crinkle cut chips ? Not acceptable . Chicken balls served with a pot of sweet and sour sauce of the smallest size I have ever seen . We won’t be returning . 30 pound for frozen chips , enough sauce to go with half the chicken . Yes it’s hard times but when people treat themselves to a takeaway we deserve better . Portions tiny . We won’t be returning
Worst Chinese ever! Never know egg fried rice to be like a cold brick, chicken curry was more oil and water than chicken, chips were not cooked properly and the bag was ripped. Did not bother looking at the rest of the order only fit for the bin. Would not feed my dog the disgusting food that was delivered

Only went to this restaurant as it was the only one open early at 4.30pm. However we are glad we did go there because we both had very nice food and an even better welcome from the owner and his wife. They made us very welcome and even helped us to select our food as we were not sure of Malaysian food.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal in the restaurant this evening. We had the all you can eat buffet. Delicious Won ton soup, satay chicken skewers and Pork yuk shun. I’m really surprised to see the negative reviews, perhaps that is for takeaway but that was not our experience.
AWFUL! Ordered on Uber eats. Undercooked rice all in clumps. Curry was swimming in water with under cooked chicken when they said it was premium curry sauce!!! Soggy chips and prawn crackers were rubbish. So disappointed.
This is the worse takeaway experience we’ve ever had in Cheltenham. The food was so greasy it was inedible. We won’t return and would advise others to avoid as it’s expensive as well as poor.

a few days ago, i came to golden mountain and ordered the chicken chow mein. I was looking forward to my meal until i saw what the food looked like. Not a good breakfast choice.
