My first experience with Golden Palace Chinese. The only positive thing I can say is the home delivery was prompt and the food lovely and hot. The fried rice was like steamed rice with vegetables and meat thrown in with no seasoning at all. I couldn't eat it, it was so horrible. The sweet and sour pork was ok except some of the pork was over cooked and the batter was deep dark brown..not burnt but close. The spring rolls lacked flavor. Sorry but for $65.00 I expected much much better. I will not consider ordering again.
Absolutely disgusting food. I wouldn't feed it to my dogs. Everything is absolutely drenched in MSG and those prawn cutlets look and taste about a year old (not to mention the freezer burn). I'll be reporting you to the health department.
P.S haven't you ever heard of using a vacuum seal machine to store certain foods.

Okay so the decor is very old and it doesn't look to be the cleanest place but we've been there 3 times and the food isn't bad. We're vegetarian so go for mixed veggies and the satay vegetables with plain rice. It always tastes good and its hot.
The lady who serves us is always friendly and yep, its cheap.
I have been buying food from the Golden Palace in Wanneroo for over 20 years, the food is plentiful and delicious and the most important for me is MSG free. Worth the cost as one container will last me 2 - 3 meals, so good value. For a take away, it is the best in Wanneroo.

I nearly didn't go due to the negative reviews but discovered it is under new management and is brilliant. I'm a visitor from the East so have no ulterior motive for writing a review
Really good service so friendly and welcoming. Great prices, great food, Large portions, fast service, plenty of parking, even gave us free tub of sweet and sour sauce which was delicious!
