I contacted customer service because my food was missing, and they informed me that the restaurant claimed it had been left on a table at my apartment. The problem is, I don’t have a table in my apartment. When the customer service representative called back, they insisted I had received my food and hung up on me, refusing to issue a refund.
My mom then went outside to look for the food and discovered it mistakenly placed at the wrong apartment number on the other side of the building. Despite the restaurant stating they were familiar with the location and had correctly followed the instructions, this clearly was not the case.
When I have a craving for Chinese food it HAS to be Golden River! The food is so delicious every single time and you really can’t beat the pricing of the lunch menu… actually, the entire menu : 11/10!
The food was disgusting the sweet and sour chicken was so greasy and nasty, It was my first time ordering from this restaurant never again. I’ll just stay with home cooking thank you. NASTY
The food here is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent. We often order takeout from this restaurant. We’ve tried several other Chinese places, but none can compare to this one.

I have been given excellent service and great food since I started using Golden River over 20 years ago. If you are good to them, they will be good to you! I LOVE 'EM!!!!!
Best inexpensive Chinese food spot in the area. My go to in the General Tso's Chicken. I have had about 8-9 other spots in the area, this place make the best GTC.
In my opinion, this place serves the best chicken and broccoli! It's absolutely delicious! I would gladly drive 25 minutes just to enjoy it!
Have ordered here since before COVID just had the BEST Szechuan Chicken ever with different veggies and a portion large enough for 3.
