Una is the best! The staff is incredibly friendly. They don’t accept cash, but during my visit, the server was so welcoming and reassured me not to worry. I was able to call a friend who brought me the cash I needed, and he even bought me an extra drink! The place has two sections: a family-friendly dining area and a bar. It’s a great bar with honest prices!
I dined on the terrace and enjoyed fantastic service. The burgers were absolutely delicious! For me, a real indicator of a good restaurant is their ability to make my fries extra crispy, and they nailed it! My friends also had a great time. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. I truly believe in supporting traditional family-run businesses.
One of my favorite spots in the FP area features a spacious terrace that's perfect for social distancing. They only accept cash, but there's an ATM nearby, and metered parking is available all around, making it easy to find a spot. If you're in the area, be sure to check out the Beacon Pub across the street; it's another hidden gem!
My wife and I visited for burgers, and I’m happy to report that nothing has changed. I used to come here with my dad from 1966 to 1969. We would walk up the street from our home every Friday night to enjoy burgers. It’s great to see that the place has remained the same, as it brought back some wonderful memories for me. The location is quite straightforward. The drinks at the bar are served cold, and the burgers come on paper plates. They only accept cash. It’s a return to basics: if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! And by the way, the burgers are fantastic. Did I mention how great the burgers are?
