The food at this restaurant is incredible, and the service goes above and beyond. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. It took only 30 seconds to place our order, with the cashier carefully verifying our modifications. The food was ready in just 5 minutes, further proving that this place is truly exceptional. The staff even noticed that we had a dog with us and brought treats and water. We enjoyed every moment there and would highly recommend it to anyone. They also offer vegan options.
This restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a relaxed place to hang out. However, the food was underwhelming. The hot dogs and buns were delicious, but the mac and cheese lacked flavor and needed salt and pepper. I ordered the "Ol' Zapata" and the only taste came from the jalapeño relish. We also had to deal with a fly near our table, and two more joined us. Perhaps this was just an off day, but I don't think I'll be returning.
Fish and chips!!!!!!!! BEST IN HOUSTON HANDS DOWN!! The catch today was grouper! Perfect in every way! The fry, crunch, lightness and batter! Pleasantly surprised! This chips is better than any in any fine restaurant! Came with delicious tartar, cocktail mignonette and mayo. This is so good it’s ridiculous. The chips are really good as well!!! I can’t believe a hot dog shop has fish like this!
The vegan menu at this restaurant was impressive. The tofu dog was delicious and had a smoky flavor to it. Unfortunately, my boyfriend was accidentally served a non-vegan dog, as the staff was new. They quickly replaced it and even gave us a coupon, but by that time he had already taken a bite. Each dog was about 8-9 dollars with no sides, which I found to be a bit pricey. Book a table now
Overpriced food for its Flavor and Portions. They LOOK Good but Aside from the condiments, me and my Friend didn't taste any flavor from the Hot Dogs or the Mac and Cheese, which was a tiny portion. And the Home Made Cream soda didn't have much taste or sweetness. It was just carbonated water with hint of cream Soda. $40 for all this was disappointing.
yes the menu is not vegan, but they are sooo happy to accommodate vegan and vegetarian and eat is great. if vegan and they really want a hot dog, they simply bring their own bungalow and they take care of the rest! I often go there. they were actually my first blog post on carnivoresandvegans.com
Wow. The Chicago-style food at this restaurant is amazing. Their Bahn Mi dog is a must-try. I highly recommend visiting whenever you have the chance. Almost everything on the menu can be made vegan. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and eager to help.

Great variety and options. Pictured is the chili cheese. My only suggestion would be a little more seasoning or salt but other than that overall really good with a perfect bun.
