Fabulous our go to restaurant in Edinburgh, can 't beat this place for food or service if I could give a six I would, one of those places you get the bill and don 't look at it you just pay with a smile, we got engaged today and first place we wanted to go as an engaged couple was Gordon 's, I had the ribeye with the best Diane sauce I 've ever had my fiancé 's chicken was so tender it melted in the mouth, staff are amazing can 't do enough, basically a trip to Edinburgh is not complete without a meal here...
Penne Speciali Pasta was very nice, everything else was really disappointing. The pizza bases were dreadful, didn’t taste freshly made at all, really poor quality. Service wasn’t good. Irish girl with the dark hair saved it, she was great. Restaurant was freezing. We had to keep our jackets on. Won’t be returning.
A safe bet. You can't go wrong with a classic Italian, old school noughties songs being played through the sound system good food, fairly reasonable priced for the area. Friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the Carbonara and the Ravioli. A lovely visit.
Had the worst pizza ever. Thick tasteless dough and floating in oil. I left it. Waitress asked if everything was ok and I said no, pizza was awful and she just apologised. Garlic bread was bad too. Wouldn’t go back.

Gnocchi with chicken and mushrooms was awesome. Calzone was delish but waaaay too large. Porn star martini was the bomb! Owner was very sweet. We spoke with him as we left. Good job!
Food was delicious. I had the Chicken risotto on the specials menu, my wife had the spag bol, both very tasty. Lovely restaurant, great location. Great service. Fully recommend.
Usually we are skeptic with Italians restaurants abroad, but this one definitely worth it. We tried both pizza, pasta and risotto, all were well done, tasty and delicious.
So cute!!! Great service, lovely food. It was such a cute little restaurant near to the castle and the man I’m guessing is the owner of was so lovely!
