Gottinger - Table reservation

We eat in the barrel and had a 3-course menu there. Unfortunately, it wasn't the way we thought. Many spider nets were on the run and the rose petals were already roasted. The menu was very short, there were only 1 appetizer, 1 dessert and 3 main dishes, from which I personally find very little. The pumpkin soup was not a good taste. As a main dish I had pumpkinravioli, which had no sauce and moreover it was a very small part. The dessert was not specially prepared. I find the price for the menu far too expensive and would not book a second time a barrel. For this amount of money, I'd rather go somewhere else to eat better. The only plus is the idea of a romantic dinner in the barrel

We were here to the barrel, we were very happy and were quite disappointed.The big barrel was decorated with Christmas candles and frayed old silk flower rose petals. At the appetizer there was a frying soup tasting water, the main dish (only 3 dishes to choose from) was the Gottinger Pfanderl, with the vegetables and the Spätzle being tasteless. The only highlight was the dessert and the expensive price.In the demand of the waiters we had also communicated this!We would not book this expensive event anymore and would prefer to go for this many money where different foods go.

A very nice hotel in Waldkirchen. The staff are very dedicated and friendly. A beautiful spa area, a good room with a very comfortable bed and a breakfast buffet, where no wishes remain open. I'd be back! Free parking right in front of the front door
