On an overnight stay in Nottingham my son and I ventured out to find somewhere different to eat and discovered the Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Firstly, I have to say, the food, the staff and the location are all five star. We ordered from the App, just to try it, and soon we were brought our burgers and some 'skinny fries '. The burgers were excellent, our initial reservations about the high price for a burger were soon quashed. I went to GBK with my family and it was just exquisite the food was great with affordable prices the staff was lovely and it honestly seemed like they wanted to be there. I got the ‘hey pesto’, the ‘truffle cheese fries’ and the ‘Oreo milkshake’ it was a very filling meal and I barely finished it which is very rare! The ‘truffle cheese fries’ had the perfect amount of cheese and the parsley tied it all together! The ‘Oreo milkshake’ was nice and thick (which can be hard to find) Lastly the burger was fantastic, the pesto tied in so well with the house relish, it had so much flavour and had an over all amazing flavour! The food at this restaurant is excellent, however, it is a bit expensive for a burger place. Don't forget to download the app so you can earn great rewards. For example, the shake in the photo was my reward after my third visit, and I also earned a free burger on my next visit after five visits.
food was absolutely amazing all the burgers are cooked to your preference, portion size are large we couldn't even finish the chips. the milkshake was great! only thing that needs improving is attention to details on the tables e.g. the salt and cutlery, and a check back on the food.

I was considering eating at this establishment today, and the staff member seated near the door was glaring at me, shaking his head in irritation because he would have to serve me. Needless to say, I quickly changed my mind about dining there.
Great burger cooked to your own taste ..pleasant staff who showed the right amount of attention so to let you eat in relative peace. Baconasie and chilli coleslaw ...amazing. Will definitely be returning
The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. The food is delicious, especially the quality burgers. The prices are a bit high, but I would still recommend this restaurant.
Still a great place to get an awesome burger milkshake! In fact I think it’s getting better! The onion rings were better than ever! A favourite of mine would highly recommend!

Food was ok, good pricing for burger quick service cannot really complain. 7 year old also enjoyed it.
