We went last evening before going to show. Had a reservation. We were met at the door and told go to the booth at the back, it should be big enough for the 7 of you then the greeter walked away. Our waitress was young and really tried to look after all of our needs. However, she only brought 3 menus. When she finally came back to take orders, we found out that there as NO WINE red or white available. The extensive beer list was also misleading. The only 2 choices were house lager or a Guinness. What pub runs out of wine and beer! What is the problem I wonder!! Soft drinks for the kids only choices were Diet Pepsi or Sprite. I ordered a rye and a Diet Pepsi she arrived with a shot glass of ry...

The music was nice, but the security staff was extremely rude for no reason. My friends had to withdraw money because the admission fee could only be paid in cash. While I waited outside with other friends, a very disrespectful doorman tried to force me inside. On my way out, another security staff member was unnecessarily rude when I tried to complain about the previous incident. They refused to give me any names, even when I asked. When I spoke to someone named TAYLOR MATTHEW, they were also rude and uncooperative, refusing to provide any other names. In conclusion, there are many other great and respectful pubs in Toronto with better service and without such foolishness. I do not recommen...
This is one of may restaurants within walking distance to 2 theatre's. We came in here for dinner before a show over the holidays. We easily got a table and they were quick to get us our menu's. Getting drinks appeared to be more challenging.... it wasnt that they weren't attentive, but the drinks we were asking for they were missing ingredients. Third time was the charm, so we did manage to get something. Prices were very reasonable. Staff was great. We had the Buddha bowl and the Crispy Chicken Burger. We both enjoyed our meals and it hit the spot. The crispy chicken had a nice crunch, it wasnt the typical bread crumbs they used.
surrounded by soon to be demolished buildings, the pub appears a bit worn; enticed by the $4 drinks between 4 and 9, perfect for the theatre crowd, the food was not worth the price of the drink. i had the fish and chips: generous portion of dried out fish and overcooked fries. my partner had the chicken sandwich and left with heartburn; not a repeat experience. staff however were uniformly friendly. men's washrooms are not accessible for those with mobility challenges, nor is the entrance Book a table now
We stopped by this restaurant with the intention of having drinks and a meal. We were seated quickly, but the experience quickly went downhill. The table was dirty, with water spilled all over it. We waited for over fifteen minutes without being attended to by any server. One of the waiters rushed past us, promising to come back, but never did. We left feeling extremely frustrated by the lack of service. It's safe to say that our visit to this restaurant was both our first and last time.
Our go to place for work events! Happy hour feature many affordable drink options. The pub is super flexible with work events. Special shout out to Michelle for planning our event and Scott for the execution! We'll definitely be back!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stopped for pre theatre dinner on a Friday evening. Got there around 5.15pm and place was already packed. Waited for about 20 minutes before folks left and we were seated. Food always good here and very reasonably priced. Recommend for drinks, munchies or dinner.
We recently hosted a fantastic retirement party at this restaurant. It was well organized and tons of fun, with plenty of room for mingling. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, and the appetizers were all delicious. Book a table now
We had a meal before going to the theatre, which was fish chips and the guinness pie. The place was clean and the service was excellent.
Always an amazing time. And thank you and Jason for the FB live performance tonight. We all need it!
