We booked specifically for my husbandâs birthday brunch. We double checked online and with social media that they would have a Sunday brunch, which is the only reason we chose grand tavern. After we had arrived and were seated we asked about brunch which is when they informed us that they had cancelled brunch that day. No signs, no warnings, nothing. Birthday ruined. We ended up just leaving and finding another place down the road to enjoy a special birthday brunch.
Service was great, both our server the restaurant manager were nice, professional pleasant. It wasn’t their fault we were served raw shrimp (appetizer), un-cooked salmon and cold mashed potatoes (like taken out of the fridge). Once brought to their attention they did what they could to make it right, by that time we were ready cut our losses and move on. Based on this experience I don’t plan on going back.
I can't make any restaurant that I made at 1:00 o'clock reservations, really rate, reservations have been confirmed for the date and time and when we showed it what closed! nothing on the website of the restaurant indicates that they are closed on this day. open table has even confirmed the date and time of the watch.
Food was good and service was great. The restaurant wasn't very busy or loud, which was nice. However, the lights were super bright, it was pretty cold at our table and there were tiny flies- flying around and in the beer. Book a table now
Greta experience! I think I have been here once but it was great happy hour and dinner food. Quite busy and energetic but awesome atmosphere.
Loves the honey bbq chicken wings!! And the nonalcoholic Bahama Mama drink!! They do it right there!!

"Fantastic place for breakfast. Easily a dozen choices of omelettes. Also at least a dozen breakfast choices like corned beef and hash, french toast, an italian sausage breakfast, and pork chop and eggs. I had the spinach and feta cheese omelette;filling and perfectly done (not runny nor burnt). They even have an omelette with steak. Great service; hard working friendlypeople."
