I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and I often find myself choosing one of their curry dishes. The Panang Curry is my favorite. My only real issue is with their online ordering system. The promised pickup time is often not reliable. For some reason, they don’t seem to have control over the waiting times across the various ordering platforms they use. As a result, your food might not be ready when expected, and you could end up waiting if the kitchen gets busy. So, my advice is to be patient and have a seat—your order will be on its way!
On January 26, 2022, around noon, Swee and I visited Grandma Thai Cuisine in Kent, WA for lunch. We were the only ones dining in at the time, as I noticed the staff were busy preparing several takeout orders. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait long for our Pad See Ew and Red Curry. The portion sizes were generous, and we couldn’t finish everything, so we took the leftovers home for dinner. Grandma Thai Cuisine was clean and tidy, with a cozy and unpretentious atmosphere. The staff were friendly, courteous, and kind.

I ordered my food through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the customer service, but I have to say that the pad kee mao (tofu) was incredible. It was saucy, flavorful, and overall delicious—a solid 10 out of 5! I struggled to finish it because I got full after just a few bites. I also shared the pad Thai with my siblings, and they loved it as well. They can’t wait to visit the restaurant in person!
I’m not from Thailand, but I’ve dined at many Thai restaurants because I love Thai cuisine. In my opinion, this is the best place in the Saddle area. The owner was incredibly friendly, which is always nice, but what really touched me was seeing them provide free meals to the homeless during dinner hours. I’d give a perfect rating for the delicious food and the kindness of the owner.
I got my food Doordash-ed so I wouldn’t know what the customer service was like but I ordered the pad kee mao (tofu) and it was incredible. Saucy, tasty, and overall delicious 10/5 loved it I didn’t even finish it because I got full after a few bites. I also got my siblings the pad Thai dish and they loved it as well can’t wait to come here in person.
If you live in the South End/Kent area or if you're just looking for an amazing place to eat you have to visit Grandma Thai or order out. The food is wonderful and authentic (I lived in Thailand for 12 years) and the woman who owns it is an amazing, sweet and giving person. Trust me on this. You won't regret supporting this small business.

A good Thai place for lunch on the weekend. We ordered their Pad See Iew and Pad Thai. The Pad See Iew was absolutely delicious, however the Pad Thai had a bit of a strong, overpowering fishy sauce taste so it was not as good. The portions were really generous for a decent price.
