we're a family of five, table booked for on a Sunday evening. we only had a main course and dessert but we didn't get out until after the mains took an hour to come. we had to chase the waitresses for extra drinks. my daughter was served a roast dinner with a Yorkshire pudding that was cut in half! My son had chips instead of mash and none of the serving staff noticed these little annoyances- this was a Mothers Day special menu so it's not as if it was overly complicated! we had to ask someone to clear our table ages after the mains had been finished. we felt forgotten the whole time we were in the restaurant. the final straw was the bill arriving which was wrong and had to be corrected- the...
The service was fantastic, a very nice welcome and an attentive waitress (Heidi) throughout. They brought over a complimentary prosecco and decorative dessert plate as it was my partner's birthday, which was a lovely touch. The only downside was that there was quite a limited menu as they were only offering the set menu that evening as opposed to a set menu offering with the availability of their main menu. The food was still great, but it would have been nice to have more choice. The dessert I had was great a hazelnut chux bun with salted caramel ice cream quite like a large ferrero rocher!
We’d been looking forward to coming here since it’s been relaunched. It was our favourite place to spend special occasions. The new layout is great and the staff are lovely. Sadly the quality of the food has been lost in the reshuffle. I’ve never left a meal uneaten before but had to on this occasion. Considering the excellent quality we’ve always had here before we were incredibly disappointed. A real shame.
Had a lovely Sunday afternoon sat outside as the sun was shining and it was the perfect sun trap! Would recommend for that alone on a sunny day! But the food was just as fantastic, starter,main and dessert all really were amazing! Would highly recommend and will deffinelty be back!

Service was very good, friendly and well arranged. The food was delicious though quite expensive; it would have been nice to have some vegetables included instead of having to order as extras. Overall we had a very nice time and all enjoyed our meals.
