I recently had a highly disappointing and disturbing stay at the Crowne Plaza College Park. What was supposed to be a pleasant visit quickly turned into a nightmare, particularly on the third day of my stay. After being out all morning, I returned to my room to find a used condom by the sofa. Horrified and disgusted, I immediately went to the front desk to report the incident. Do not book at this hotel unless you are desperate with no other options. The only welcoming staff is the young lady that works mornings with the short haircut. She’s awesome. Others made me feel like I was bothering them. The restaurant/bar is supposed to open at 4:30 pm. However, we were told at 4:30 pm to wait 30 more minutes. The pool isn’t open and there is no outdoor seating. When we asked about amenities, we were laughed at. The food is not very appetizing. I had to ask for towels. This is by FAR THE WORSE HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!! Bed bugs they switched me rooms apparently the whole hotel was out of ac for the night which they probably did to “kill the bed bugs “ so I get to my new room my key kept getting deactivated!!!! My experience with the staff at this hotel was horrible. I attempted to check in for my stay that was booked approximately 6 weeks in advance only to be turned away because they had overbooked the hotel. I had a CONFIRMED reservation email that I had received a day prior to check in. I wish I would have gotten the name of the woman at the front desk because she was awful! She told me that they were overbooked, we didn’t have a room and that it “isn’t her problem.” 0/10 would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Housekeeping is absolutely terrible. Stayed for a week and not one time did I not have to call to get service to my room. The housekeeping doesn't change out the towels, don't give toilet paper, and get all pissy when you ask for clean towels. There were three of us to a room and they only wanted to give two towels and have us an attitude when we asked for a third. Terrible experience and I won't be coming back.
This is near the Greenbelt metro station or a few turns off MD 201 and the beltway (495). Decent size parking lot. The room was decorated nicely and had everything needed but was not very clean. Spoke with the front desk in the morning and they handled the notice appropriately. No ice machine but had pre-bagged quartz size ready to go in the convince shop.
I liked the place, however, we requested wash clothes and they didn't have any. The room was cold even when we had it on 80. The staff was fantastic. Breakfast was good. Kinda felt like a hotel with a motel feel...

Very clean. One thing to note is they don't have microwave inside the room. It is down in the lobby but I will definitely come back to this place
