Gregorio's is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant and bar. Hidden back in an off-the-beaten path shopping center, there is plenty of free parking. It has a comfortable (though not at all fancy) dining room, with well-spaced tables and an attentive staff, but also a robust carry-out program. On this visit, Chicken Cacciatore caught my eye on the specials list, and it was an awesomely-rich Cacciatore sauce, you can tell that it was on the stove all day, just like nanna used to make! Gregorio’s is a sponsor of AU Athletics, so we tried their restaurant. The food was very good for the price. Portion was ample and the staff was very courteous. Gregorio's is one of our go to places, even though we live in VA. Lovely staff, very good food. Parking for those of us who are suburban! Excellent spot to meet up with friends family who live downtown or midtown DC or Maryland. Charming outdoor space.
