The main reason for writing this review is to help travellers arriving in Issoire on a Sunday and despairing about finding somewhere open to eat. In the town itself there is basically nothing open, apart from Le Globe, which with its pizza burger tapas menu may suit some, but the Courtepaille, on the eastern fringes of the town and next to the Carrefour supermarket, is also open 7/7 and until late. The Courtepaille is not haute cuisine, but it doesn't do a bad job, and there are so many permutations and combinations possible within the menus that you will be sure to find something, big or small, to suit.
