To start, our waitress Grisella was pleasant, professional and courteous. The reason for three stars is that I ordered a patti melt and asked the waitress if I could have a turkey burger instead of the standard beef burger that comes on a classic patti melt. She said, “So, you want a turkey burger on bread?”. I said no. The patty melt comes grilled, on rye and melted cheese and onions. She said, “well you can have whatever kind of bread you want on your turkey burger”. So I said, I want rye, like is supposed to be on the patti melt. Ordered the same thing on 3 straight occasions. Early in the morning when it is relatively empty. Got the wrong food. The 3rd time I mentioned very respectfully to the waitress that the chef isn 't clear on how to make some things on the menu. Someone should let him know. She replied, well, its the owner. To which I doubled down, well, the owner doesn 't know how to make what 's on the menu. When she returned, she had to apologize for the owner who was no where to be seen. The Groton Townhouse offers a wide range of high-quality foods at a reasonable price. My wife and I love eating here. Your menu offers over a hundred different options. Many come here for breakfast. And... yes, we enjoy their breakfast. But, in my opinion, the dinners are the best dishes they offer! The Tilapia, crushed in a rich, generous lobster Newburg, is excellent. And this dish comes with a cup of soup (or salad), two sides of vegetables and a piece of cake or cake. Your cakes and cakes are also very good. The attached photo shows the elections we were given. The service is great, food arrives quickly and prices are good. The Townhouse is like a diner on steroids.

One of our favorite spots to visit when we are in town. Food is served hot and quickly. Large variety on the menu and they serve breakfast all day, that appeals to half of my family. It's a large place and they have a lot of table that are large if you have friends with you and need larger space to visit.
I love it here. Wide range of foods. For the first time I ordered breakfast food. It was delicious. I love the soups here. Only once did I get a bad one. Many delicious desserts are always available. My fav here is the whole shell. In general, you get a pretty good part what you order.
A classic American diner with breakfast anytime. Nothing fancy or subtle but all good. My favorites are their excellent breakfast choices but family likes lunch choices also. So rare to get good biscuits and gravy but they know how. Huge place so no problem bringing a large group.
Definitely a great variety of food. The staff are so amazing. Very reasonable prices. Definitely will be back to pick up dinner from there. 5 Stars plus. Thank you to the amazing staff for making the experience always enjoyable.
