what a sound! the owners were very friendly, we sat at a table with a view of the valley. patio with tree and reben. we had the osso buco and cepes, with polenta and risotto. what a meal! fabulous and would recommend 100% others.
from them come to tessin they must come to this place at mendrisioto grotti, there are many, but, after bundi grotte the reserve on the list must be a week before.
the polnta with porcini is very good. also the risotto zafferano is a must try. the host are very warm and the portion size is also very large.
Great place for local cuisine; very welcoming staff and honest prices. A must try if wandering nearby Mendrisio.
