We used to visit Grotto's Pizza in Harveys Lake, PA, frequently. When we moved to Delaware, we had no idea there was a Grotto's here. Today was a delightful trip down memory lane. Our order was perfect; the pizza was outstanding, with the best pizza sauce I've ever tasted. The boneless wings were irresistible, and the chicken tenders were excellent and came in a generous portion. The salad was also fantastic.
The pizza was disappointing; it appeared as though sauce had just been poured on top without any care. By the time it arrived, it was cold. The wings were tiny and dry, with barely any sauce on them. Overall, I was very let down by this order.
I ordered a turkey and cheese sandwich with tomato, pickles, and lettuce, but received it with turkey and onions instead. The chicken cheesesteak was mostly just bread. The only redeeming aspect of the meal was the fries, which were good.
I dined with a group and we were served quickly and courteously. The menu features a variety of Italian dishes and other comfort foods. We tried the pizza and cheesesteaks, both of which were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant! Book a table now
I just don’t understand why they put the pizza at the bottom of the bag. This has happened to me twice now, and it totally ruins the pizza. Come on, Grottos, it’s not that difficult to put the pizza on top!
Small Cheesy Beach Fries were HUGE! I wouldve never got the Grotto Junior with it LOL!! What a great lunch..and a very much needed break from Papa Johns that they feed us EVERY Saturday at work!!!!!!
The restaurant was extremely busy, but we didn't have to wait long for our food. Our server was friendly and made sure to check on us frequently, despite the crowd.
Food was a bit expensive but was fantastic!!! Worth the price. We did not eat pizza!! Try the spinach and avocado appetizer so good husband even tried and liked. Book a table now
Grottos pizza is absolutely the best in Delaware! And the staff in the Seaford store are amazing. We always have our parties there!!
