Grumpys - Table reservation

Went to get a quick shot with friends and were there for less than 10 minutes. We didn’t give a tip and while we were taking a screenshot of the bill, the bartender had the audacity to tell my wife “are you taking a screenshot of the fact you didn’t tip?” Sure we’ll leave you a tip but it’ll come with a 1-star review. :)P.S. Tipping is absolutely necessary if you are providing a service but this guy was doing his job pouring out 7 shots and walked away. Total time it took him to pour the 7 shots was 60 seconds. No service was actually given except that. Millions of people work minimum paid jobs without getting tips. His service absolutely did not warrant a tip especially if we were there for...

Grumpys is one of our favourites in town. We used to come here every Friday during the winter semester. Drinks are cheap and strong... which is perfect for college students and staff is pretty cool. Think we've pissed them off here and there by being stupid (entirely our fault im sorry guys), but at the end of the day, they've still been extremely cool with us.They also make sure you get everything you need. And they're not very invasive. Yeah, we've all loved it here. This bar has also been able to accommodate us every time, and we're usually a group of at least 5-6 people.Thank you Grumpy's you guys rock. And sorry for being an annoyance sometimes.

My favorite bar in mtl! Beautiful antique furnishings, good liquor and good music. A fun and cozy nook perfect for a friday night!

Old style basement type bar. Trivia night. Good atmosphere but needs to be renovated abit.
