we came to two in the fully occupied restaurant. the wetin behind the theke greeted us very cordially and despite full-occupied restaurant has assigned us a table! (happy, the best of the table had gone seconds before) immediately came the chefin of the restaurant and changed the tuschdecke and we took place. after about 2 min. she came back again and took the order and order of food. you noticed that the staff were quite under stress due to the full-occupied local, yet it was very friendly and even exchanged with us a few spaesschen! after a very short time, the inlay salad was brought to the table from a variety of salads with really aromatic dressing! Clean thruout, fresh table linens, cloth napkins, flowers and candles. Located in the center of a small farm village, easy to reach from the Autobahn, at the edge of the Black Forest. Make reservations on weekend. Large sunroom for bigger parties. Friendly and efficient staff. Moderate prices. Assorted desserts, cakes, ice creams and coffees. One of my favorite places to meet friends and celebrate or just eat a good meal.
we were in the green tree for Christmas dinner. the demand for Christmas is high, so we must reserve. at our arrival we were immediately greeted personally and we were glad to have our Christmas. we got a nice table in a niche. the decoration of the restaurant was very tastefully adjusted to christmas. there was a special menu for christmas with good selection. we were served politely and courtesy very well.The quality of eating was excellent. the drinks prices are moderate. I had a pinot grigio for 3.40 €. Overall a very satisfactory 'Christmas dinner. the local you can recommend without restriction.
A family run restaurant with an authentic menu that changes to meet the season. We live in the area and it is within walking distance which is a perk, but even so, I would happily drive. You are always greeted, and even through everyone is running to ensure their guests are happy, they always have time for a pleasant word for everyone. It would appear there are many returning guests, which also boasts of the menu and the genuineness of the staff. Highly recommended, and very good value, albeit a bit out of the way. Too bad they do not have outdoor seating for the summer months. Book a table now
who wants to visit a restaurant with a traditional menu of the previous century, it finds it here. Large portions, which can also have as a "half teller", are more than the modern city citizen can handle. fair prices, regional suppliers, good eating, nice service. atmosphere is through the low ceilings. Also recommended are the tag menus, here you get something new, wild is recommended each time.
we often come to family-proof in the green tree. the foods have a consistent quality and usually come to the table at the same time. However, it would be nice if the daily card would be changed occasionally and you would get new food offered. all in all, the visit is worth every time.
best Swabian cuisine in the surrounding area, very good wild dishes, a special highlight are the Swiss weeks, especially recommended the züricher swung. this all too fair praise.

it was solid and tasty today. twill roast with super-brate potatoes, leber with class berner röstis and desserts . . tasted as they look. (s. pictures)
