This is a bit of a hard review to write because I would really like to rate the place higher. The ambition is clearly there but it doesn't quite come together. The service is friendly but does appear to have a hard time as the place begins to fill up. The pizza looks very nice when first brought out but doesn't deliver. The dough is good and the crust is cooked very well but the cheese is a severe letdown. It's a disappointing mix with little to no flavour that is piled on top of the pizza in such quantities that it cools and sets into a slightly white-yellow Jell-O-like substance.
The people, serving, bar are really great! Breakfast was very good, varied, very filling! The Brötchen are coming from the local baker every morning! Loved this part! I want to eat dinner there someday : I stayed for one night on the 2nd floor. Its January. When i opened the door to the room it stank like farts. Opened window, found out it stank most probably from shower gel installed in shower cabin or sewers... During the night, with 2 blankets, I was a bit cold. Shower drain clogged.
Hotel: Friendly staff but especially bathroo.s need urgently a renovation. Restaurant: Italian place which is very nice. Good selection and reasonable prices.
Really good food, nice ambience, friendly service. Our favorite Italian restaurant in bigger Lindau area.
