Guadalajara Modern Mexican

I have been a long running customer at Guadalajara since it replaced Cali Tacos, but their customer service was so incredibly disappointing the last time I ordered from them that have no plans on returning. On January 17th my family ordered our regular pick up order and were told via phone the cost would be the usual, under 40 dollars. Upon arrival we are handed an almost 60 dollar bill with no explanation, when questioned the host who stated his brother was the owner advised me that he had no explanation as to why we were charged more, gave us our food and told us that for the incorrect bill (that he had no explanation for) it would be fully refunded back to our card. Exceptional modern take on Mexican. You can find traditional Mexican special ties. The star attraction however are a wide range of street tacos. You can do 3 for $14. My favorites include Birria, barbacoa, shrimp, fish and tongs chicken. Atmosphere is sports bar, but not too much noise to distract.

I'm usually picky with onions, but here I could eat them and not have any problems. I got the Birria Grilled Cheese and honestly I would just get this every time but the menu is so diverse. I've got to come back and try

love this restaurant. They have the best Mexican food in town. Couldn't ask for anything better around here
