We had booked a stay on Airbnb from 14.07.-18.07. 2 weeks before our arrival I called there because I had a question about check-in. On the phone they told me they had no booking from us in the system, even though we had already paid. This was very unfavourable for us because we wanted to arrive due to a festival and almost all other accommodations were already booked. There was no word of apology either. Only the info that the lady responsible for the room bookings is sometimes making mistakes. But if you know that these processes don't run clean, why doesn't anyone check?! Calls from the mediating agency just didn't react. Very angry!
