The food is average, and the service is also just okay. It's disappointing that the kids' meals are priced nearly the same as adult entrees. When we visited last night, the kids' meals were almost $10 each, yet they arrived on very small plates. In the past year, the prices here have skyrocketed, and it seems like the portion sizes of the entrees are shrinking too. We've been dining at Gustavo's since it opened, but with the rising costs for mediocre food, I think we'll be seeking other options in the future.
The food is passable, but it lacks any real flavor. It feels like it comes straight from a can, gets warmed up, and is then served to you. The drinks at the bar have very little, if any, alcohol content. Don’t be misled by the vibrant pictures online; what you receive is far from what is shown. It's worth the drive to Louisville for better dining choices, or you might as well go to Taco Bell, where you can enjoy similar food for less.
The service was fantastic! Even though it was quite busy, we were seated right away and didn’t have to wait long. Our server was friendly and attentive. They brought out chips and salsa with individual bowls, so there was no double dipping. I ordered the Barbacoa Tacos, and they were delicious. The cheese sauce was more reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. I had a great time here!
We went there for dinner and brought our 10-month-old with us. The service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were seated quickly, and our waiter was very attentive, bringing us chips and salsa as soon as we got settled. Our meals arrived promptly, were served hot, and all special requests were correctly fulfilled. Overall, we had a wonderful experience!

I tried the shrimp tacos at Gustavo's Mexican Grill, and they were better than any I've had elsewhere. They were packed with shrimp and avocado, along with all the other delicious ingredients, topped off with a tasty chipotle sauce. I would definitely eat here again without hesitation.

I cannot recommend Gustavo's Mexican Grill! My chicken was undercooked, and the cheesy fries were awful and burnt. The food was a complete disappointment!
