I have been a loyal customer for a long time, but unfortunately, I've decided to stop visiting this restaurant. It seems that the management at Gyro World needs to consider a change in staff, especially the hostess, who is consistently rude and displays a negative attitude. This isn't the first time I've noticed this behavior. Additionally, over the years, the quality of the food has declined significantly. If you're looking for great authentic cuisine and exceptional service, I recommend visiting Yia Yia’s Taverna instead.
I'm surprised by the low rating— it seems many are more focused on value than the quality of the food. Since I started working from home, I order from Gyro Village at least once a week, if not more. The staff are incredibly friendly, whether you're dining in, picking up, or having your order delivered. The spicy feta dip is fantastic, and I usually go for the grilled chicken, which is absolutely delicious. My kids aren’t fans of the Gyro my way, but they love their own choices.

However, I would suggest dining here only occasionally rather than regularly, as the value is somewhat lacking—prices feel high for the quality. Additionally, the service is notably slow; even during off-peak hours, they've consistently underestimated pickup times by at least 10 minutes on three separate occasions over the past three months.

Prices are steep, and both portion sizes and quality leave much to be desired. The service is consistently good, but with so many options nearby nowadays, it’s hard to justify. I still stick with their gyro for lunch, but their plates, salads, and other dishes are disappointing. (This was the smallest piece of feta I’ve ever seen in a Greek salad.)
I used to be a regular customer at Gyro Village, ordering from their menu frequently. However, today they not only forgot my salad but also significantly reduced the portion sizes. The Gyro chicken plate was only half the size it used to be. I would not recommend ordering from Gyro Village anymore.
Friendly neighborhood spot (realizing that it's a small chain in NY) Got the mixed grill and lemon potatoes. There were SO MUCH meat for the 2 of us, we took the rest home and had another full meal from the left overs. Everything was seasoned well with tons of flavors. Would definitely recommend.
Prices are up, portions and quality are way down. Service is always good but theres too many options in the neighborhood these days. Still solid for a gyro for lunch, but platters, salads, etc are terrible. (This is the tiniest piece of feta Ive ever hadwith a greek salad)
