Habacu's Mexican - Table reservation

This is my second or third trip I made to Habacu since I lived in Minden. Finding a Mexican place that has both good chips salsa and good food is hard to do. I don't know why, but it seems that most people don't meet the brand. When you go to Habacu, feel like going into a smoky pool space. After sitting they bring you not only chips salsa, but chips 2 types of salsa plus pig cattle. They are already 2 steps before their competitors. I love choosing several salsas. Their red is better than most in the city and the brightly colored is very unique. I have no idea what it is. Great little family restaurant in downtown Minden La. Enjoy a small ride from Shreveport. The Mexican restaurant of Habacu. A local favorite. Right home as soon as we got in. Treat us with royalty. Great food. Great sauces. Fresh chips. You can't go wrong with Habacu. Our waiter Paco was the best. College bound. Very positive attitude. Tip him well. Thanks again for treating us well. Friendly service with fun decor. Located in Minden, it will definitely drive for a taste of delicious Mexican cuisine. Bring your appetite, because the portion size will fill you. You can choose from a multiple page menu that includes lunch specialities. On the way you can enjoy a free soft ice cone.

Well worth the trip from the highway. The food is excellent and cheap from the lunch menu. The only thing that bothered was the music. But it wasn't so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. The bathroom could also use some work.

Awesome service, great atmosphere, great food. What more could you ask for??? Oh yeah sweet tea was on point and always full.
