Love this place has free pinto beans. Had a little turkey and brisket slices. Corn on cob was cooked juicy and delicious. Green beans were from a can. Not bad, but okay. The table sauce is a spicy more than sweet BBQ sauce. I really liked that. Turkey was juicy and brisket and great taste. My son loved the ribs. Been here many times over the years, but never leave a good rating. The staff was very nice and friendly. Thanks ol West.
The food was great. Everything you expect when paying for BBQ. The meat was flavored enough to not require the BBQ sauce and wasn't seasoned too much that you have to wash it down with a drink. The slaw was perfect and the green beans didn't disappoint. Definitely worth the detour when traveling the i20 corridor past Minden. Update: 3-19-22 Still has fantastic BBQ and excellent service.
Ol West BBQ has a good meal. The service is fast, and the prices are not bad. Decor of the restaurant is quite cool, and it is very clean. Enjoyed my visit and would recommend it to anyone who wanted some good BBQ and pages.
It was great. Very friendly staff. Try the red bottle bbq!!!! Could use red bottle with flames!!!! Seriously good.
