I 'm not one to write nasty reviews. I had really high hopes for this place. The menu looked promising, and the atmosphere was nice. I walked in the door right after they opened and it took the two young girls 5 minutes for them to seat me. I 'm thinking Okay whatever I 'll live. An older lady with short hair comes to me and takes my drink order- water with lemon. I get my water and it 's good (its water what do you expect lol). I waited 40 minutes for someone to take my order. Nobody ever did. The older lady kept walking by me but didn 't acknowledge me. I still had my menu, so I clearly hadn 't ordered yet. Spent a nice day at Duxbury beach and figured we would get take out before heading home because I have heard good things about it. The facility seemed clean and the atmosphere was nice. We were greeted promptly and the people working the reception were pleasant. Got home and discovered they gave me the wrong side order with my fried clams. The clams were tough and chewy. Rice pilaf was decent but maybe a few spoonfuls at best. I expect more for $35. My wife and daughter said their fish was good and they enjoyed it. C+.in my book. I dined in for dinner and had a fantastic experience! The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff that made our visit enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, also receiving a rating of 5. I highly recommend trying the lobster and clams—they were exceptional!

I absolutely love the big-bellied clams, and the acoustic guitarist in the bar area adds a nice touch. The service staff are friendly and very accommodating. This is my go-to place for celebrating my birthday!

I really enjoy the scallop and bacon pizza, and the $1 oysters on Wednesdays are a fantastic deal. The food is excellent, and the service is friendly.
