Halsted Street Deli is situated in a restricted employee-only area. I wouldn't suggest trying the pizza, as its crust is tough on the outside and raw inside. On the other hand, their creamy chicken soup is enjoyable. Overall, the sandwiches and menu are simple and rather ordinary.
