The potato tube is located in the city centre of Hamburg between Dammtor and Alster. There are a few steps to the local area, the low Sims over the stairs forces larger guests to take the head. The guest room is also relatively low and for this it has no jewelry, but with dark forests and upholstery benches comfortable, more cozy than it works on the homepage in the photo gallery. There are dishes around the potato and there are pistes. I ordered Roastbeef, my wife Grünkohl “with everything”. What came to the table was qualitatively good, the ingredients and the preparation seemed fresh. However, I would have liked the roast potatoes a little more cheerful, my wife didn't see that. Hatte die Bauernpfanne. Sehr lecker und grosse Portion. Die hätte auch für 2 Pers. gereicht. Es war sehr viel los und die arme Servicedame war alleine. Darum musste ich Geduld habe, was nicht so schlimm war, hatte Zeit. Das Essen war sehr gut. Habe sogar einen Kaffe bekommen für die lange Wartezeit. Gerne wieder.
The city rug is like a trip in the '60s. The whole decoration that shines and the furniture seems to come from this time, but is clean and well maintained. The food is juicy honest and cooked, delicious. The potato food tastes like before at Mutti and comes freshly at the table tingling.
Good quality and hearty food in a friendly atmosphere with a good selection of quality beers. Well worth seeking out. We found it by chance and got the last available table so advance booking possibly a good idea.
