4.5 07/09/2023 I came here because I was craving this restaurant, I’ve been here a couple of times and each time I was always satisfied. The restaurant was kind of busy, the employees were welcoming from the start and always noticed when I needed their attention. I ordered a Rosé Cheese Dakgalbi and Spicy Rice Cake.Rosé Cheese Dakgalbi I usually get this from here, but this time I added ramen noodles, and extra cheese, I asked if they could also add fish cakes as well but they said they couldn’t ?. Since I ordered a portion for one, it didn’t come in like the image, they warned me ahead of time but why could I do ?‍ this made the dish have less sauce than it should’ve. I definitely recommend...

I've been to Hancook a handful of times each with different groups and we've always left full and satisfied! If you like cheese, spice, and chicken give this place a try. What we got: Rose Cheese Dakgalbi with ramen noodles Seafood Soondubu Hot Stone Bibimbap (not pictured)My favs: You really can't go wrong with chicken, cheese, ramen, and rice cakes! Bibimbap came in a beautiful stone bowlFinal Thoughts:I've had the original and the rose dakgalbi, couldn't really tell you the difference even though the rose costs a couple dollars more so I'd say just go with the original cheese. Nothing really ground breaking and the value for price is definitely not the best. Even when not busy it can also...

My favorite place for a light meal.FOOD:• Cheese Dakgalbi: super cheesy, quite spicy but not crazy spicy. It can't get me full if I order it alone but definitely a fun thing to try.I recommend add some noodles/ rice into it get some side dish.DRINK: I didn't feel like getting a drink that is more pricey than the main course.VIBE: It's in the basement so might be a bit harder to find. The floor is not as clean as I expected it to be. And the washroom looks really dirty. The dakgalbi pan is quite old and beaten up.SERVICE: All the servers tried to avoid my eye contact after the food is brought out. It's almost impossible to ask for something else because they seem to dissappear or pretend not...

Delicious Cheese Dakgalbi! Never tried that before and we went as this place was recommended to us by a friend. The sauce was tasty which made up for the texture of the dish. I think to some people who are not used to it, it may seem a little spicy. I like spicy food, so it was a perfect match for me. The dish is so fun to eat straight out of a sizzling pan! We also had fried rice with the remainder dakgalbi. Our portions were enough!! The staff was nice and the restaurant was not too crowded. Their side dishes are good too! The restaurant itsels is a nice casual place to eat, drink and chill. Definitely worth coming by for some delicious comfort food. Book a table now

We ordered the cheesy chicken with ramen at this restaurant, where they charge per person. We were not able to choose the level of spiciness. The cheese option costs an additional $3, but we felt that there was not enough cheese. There were also very few rice cakes, but there was a generous amount of chicken, which was a positive. The ramen had absorbed all the sauce and was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the glass noodle side dish. The only downside was that it was difficult to get the attention of the staff as they were very busy. Additionally, the table was quite sticky, so I hope they consider changing the cleaning spray they use.

Came here with some friends for a little get-together. Ordered two Dakgalbi (Cheese and Rosé sauce) with ramen. Plus fried rice with the crispy bits at the end. Everything was hot and fresh. Service was good. Preferred the Cheese Dakgalbi over the one with Rosé sauce as the latter was a bit too creamy and lacked the spiciness I'd like. But overall, it was an enjoyable experience.

I didn’t try the signature cheese dakgalbi and only had the spicy rice cakes. It was okay. The rice cakes were too soft and felt over cooked. But The sauce was tasty which made up for the texture of rice cake. the highlight for me was the side dishes! The noodles were delicious and the service was very polite.

The food and service at this restaurant were exceptional. I ordered the cheese dakgalbi and the taste was just as I remembered from my time living in Korea. The only downside was that rice was not included with the dish, which was a bit unexpected. Book a table now
