The food was amazing. The ambiance and energy of the place was great. Our server was fun I did my first “bomb” drink balancing the sake on chopsticks, saying the Japanese chant they taught them banging the table to drop it in. I’m pretty shy so that’s not my thing it they were so fun and cool about it I enjoyed myself (drink was great to! .I can’t believe how fast the food came, and it was super fresh. Since going plant based I’ve really missed Japanese food so I seriously appreciate their vegan menu. The mushroom bao bun was so good! Also never thought I’d get to have oshi sushi again but they have a vegan version and it was great. Had that familiar char to it.I really can’t recommend this p...

We dined at this restaurant last year and found it to be good value for the money, especially in Whistler where dining out can be expensive. However, our recent visit was a huge disappointment. The meal was marred by inedible bits of food throughout, making it a frustrating experience. The honey garlic chicken was the best dish we tried, reminiscent of food court quality. Unfortunately, the deep fried Brussels sprouts were so hard they were impossible to eat, and the chips for the kimchi avocado were overcooked and bitter. The kimchi itself was a gelatinous mess, and the Spicy Agadash Tofu was poorly prepared with wrinkly, hard bits. The supposed "spicy" sauce was barely noticeable. Even the...

I used to like this restaurant until yesterday. The atmosphere was terrible. They played loud ABBA music constantly, and even though the service was decent, they brought all our dishes out at the same time, overcrowding the table. It was very uncomfortable. But the worst part was when I got home. I couldn't sleep at all because I got food poisoning and was sick all night. I will not be returning!

We were initially very excited because of the atmosphere and good reviews, but was immediately disappointed when our food came out. The oden was beyond tasteless, the salmon was very small and bland, ramen was also bland. We had to add soy sauce to give it some sort of life. Not worth it for the price at all. If u want delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine, dont waste ur time here. Book a table now

Great fun place. Good Japanese food, excellent service, and a window table with views of 3 mountains. Fair prices by Whistler standards, and we left satisfied. Interesting note the kitchen staff was laughing and joking and really seemed to be enjoying themselves. This bit of side entertainment made the experience all the better. Definitely will go back!

We have dined at this restaurant before and had a wonderful experience, but it seems that there have been changes in ownership, the chef, or both since our last visit. The food was quite average this time - smaller portions, higher prices, and lacking the same wow factor. We were disappointed and do not plan to return.

Says open til 11pm. Showed up at 10pm on a Saturday evening. Asked to sit at the bar (solo traveler). Was turned away and told they can’t serve me. Really disappointing. Would’ve been the best-paying customer they had all night, but they didn’t want my business.

Really cool Japanese restaurant. The interior is really Japanese style with room dividers between tables. We had 3 of the 'tapas ' dishes: all delicious. You can also order ramen from neighbour restaurant, also great!
