We went to Harvest for a family lunch to celebrate my brother’s birthday, following a recommendation from a friend who spoke highly of the place. The atmosphere was pleasant, and I would give it a solid 4 out of 5 for ambiance. However, that’s where the positives end. Let’s talk about the food, which was the real disappointment of the day. I ordered several dishes, hoping for a memorable culinary experience, but instead, I was met with subpar quality across the board. • 8oz Dry Aged Burger: The biggest letdown of the meal. The beef was far from fresh; it had a bad taste that made it nearly inedible. The patty was dry, and the flavor was off, as if the meat had been sitting for far too long....
Absolutely breath taking view of the canyon, a totally different view than what you would think you'd see in Laguna. The canyon and property made you feel like you were in Sedona, highly recommend going 45mins prior to sunset so you get the reflection of it in the canyon. If you can, sit outside it would be a must and they have heaters and blankets! The food itself was good, with some plates better than others. The short ribs, duck wings and Mac and cheese were delicious but the wild shrimp pasta and apple pie were both underwhelming in flavor. I would go back and try other dishes that looked good. Is there any place in South County more elegant than Harvest? The privilege of having The Ranch practically in our back yard is such a bonus. We were celebrating a very special night my 70 'th birthday and as always it was lovely. The menu choices are always wonderful. I had had an especially jammed day and just wanted a minute to shift gears once we were seated. Our server (Frank has waited on us several times over the last year plus) came over quickly and wanting to make sure we were well attended. This place is a hidden gem. It is a bit pricy, but every restaurant in Southern California is now pricy. The Squash Bottoms, Cheese Bread, and Brussels sprouts , all ordered as appetizers, for the 6 of us were tasty and deemed a “good choice”. The short ribs were delicious, a generous portion, and I even had leftovers to take home to enjoy as a 2nd meal. The special that night, the Sea Bass, was surprisingly spicy, but very much well liked. The servers were very helpful to us with making our choices due to the fact that this was our first time at The Harvest. We came to play 9 holes of golf, but we will all consider returning again for both the golf and the food.

I love coming to this restaurant for breakfast or brunch with friends, family, and visitors from out of town. It never disappoints! The food is amazing, light, and tasty, and the menu is simple and straightforward. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The views are beautiful and so relaxing, especially outside with live music. There’s a bar for drinks and even a view of the golf course. The greenery around the restaurant adds to its charm. Such a beautiful location and an excellent dining experience.
First visit to Harvest, and we'll be back! Nice evening with friends- food was excellent, the view and atmosphere were fantastic as well. Appreciated having some fresh produce from the garden as part of the meal. Wait staff was busy but professional and efficient. Highly recommend the cookies for desert.
No vegetarian dinner available. I ordered a starter...garden mezza platter. Totally bland I don't recommend. They have a fantastic portobello black bean burger which I have for lunch quite often. It is delicious!! They wouldn't serve it to me. I'll only go to the harvest for lunch from now on!!

Our server Phillip was outstanding in every way. His menu knowledge and explanation of everything was truly impressive. Also a shout out to Jude for his excellent attention in assisting Phillip. We were very pleased with each dish and had a wonderful meal.
Sad to see bad reviews. Here now with my wife a d five year old daughter after a week in Catalina. Ignore the negativity of unhappy people. We live in LA jolla and this place is 5?????
