Been to the Unicorn multiple times over the past few years. From date nights, to birthdays, to casual lunches they have always delivered outstanding service and food quality. Not once in my many many visits have I ever had a complaint, staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is delicious, well priced, and out the kitchen quickly. I have had multiple items from the menu every one of which has been amazing. If your looking to have a great experience dining out without breaking the bank, The Unicorn Harvester is a fantastic option.
Unfortunately the waitress was rushed of her feet so the service was not up to standard . Eventually we got our meal but it was the wrong order so we had another wait to receive our correct order. Overall need more staff as it's a busy place oh and they had not received our booking so I had to show them my booking reference on my phone so another hiccup.
The food took nearly an hour to be served. The fries were extremely dry, so much so that I could only manage to eat one. Overall, I did not enjoy the meal and had difficulty finishing it. The breaded chicken had a slightly undercooked consistency. Additionally, the salad bar was missing several common items.
Had a brilliant meal at The Unicorn! Self service drinks were great, food was timely, fresh, and hot: and really welled priced. Booths looked good and chairs were comfortable. Sammie, our server, made sure we had a great time. We will definitely return soon, for Easter. Good for bigger parties as well.

Harvester is known for its delicious food, and The Unicorn is no different. The service is friendly and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Being a registered member online can lead to some great offers, making dining here even more enjoyable. Keep up the fantastic work!
Had a quick lunch here. Nice bean burger with salad from the extend salad bar! Very sweet staff who ask for diet requests and are well informed. Menu has several vegan options, even a dessert! No vegan salad dressings (but you could ask for vinegar and oil) or vegan mayonaise though.
Maybe the time of year, but very full for a Thursday, so obviously popular. Salad bar was fresh and well stocked and enjoyed the food. Waiter service was excellent. They seemed to have enough staff in the well equipped kitchen. Overall a pleasant evening.
Actually one of the best mixed grills I've had in a long time. It wasn't cheap but the amount of food provided was good, it was well cooked, and tasty.

The service was brilliant aswell as the drinks. Did not have to wait long for our meals that were piping HOT.
The salad bowls were dirty and the vegetables were undercooked. I was not impressed at all.
