Heckman's Delicatessen

I was working a little bit longer in Bethesda today than I anticipated, and I had a craving for a grilled cheese sandwich. I decided to look at restaurants in the area that was within walking distance from my job, and I settled on Heckman's Deli. I was especially excited to try the grilled cheese BLT sandwich meal, and so I ordered that for pickup through Uber Eats. It was ready within 10-15 minutes, and I couldn't wait to eat it. We ordered some food through Uber eats when our entire family was sick with the flu and it saved our weekend. The matzah ball soup was amazing, so flavorful and just what I needed. The matzah ball was packaged separately so it didn’t get soggy in transport. The deep dish or Sicilian style pizza was a really pleasant surprise. I’ve been looking for great pizza in Bethesda for a year and when I least expected it found it. The chicken fingers and fries were good but no surprises there. Highly recommend!

I ordered the chicken salad on sourdough and it delicious fresh ingredients and prepared like I requested. I also ordered the chips and chicken noodle soup both were delicious. It was a Doordash order and it was packaged and received fresh and hot. Food was great this was my first time trying but it definitely won't be the last. Thank you
