Since the new ownership, Heidi's has only gotten better (and it was great before! . Everyone working there is super polite, the menu options have expanded and are great! My son loved his cookie ice cream sandwich. They make them when ordered so you can pick soft or hard ice cream and your flavor. Don't forget to request sprinkles on the outside! We will continue to go back for sure, especially as the weather warms up to sit out back at a picnic table.
Great staff and ice cream! My son has a serious peanut allergy. One bite and he becomes anaphylaxis. The girl at the container was so sweet. She made sure everything was clean and peanut free. My family and I happened to find Heidi's Hollow while in the area for a sporting event and we fell in love. We make a detour whenever we're close and never leave without some big smiles. Great old-timey spot for homemade ice cream. Big yard out back to relax with your treat and sometimes games like cornhole and soccer out back to play. Worth a stop
